The AquaPod 12 gallon features, like all other AquaPods, a seamless, rounded-corner glass aquarium that allows complete panoramic viewing of your aquarium. In the canopy is a Deluxe 54 watt Compact Fluorescent lighting system (1-27watt square pin Dual Daylight 6700°K/10000°K Daylight bulb, and 1-27watt square pin Dual Actinic 420nm/460nm Actinic bulb) with a fan cooling system and highly efficient internal electronic ballasts. More than enough light for a thriving reef ecosystem complete with a diverse selection of corals and invertebrates. Also included is a set of 2 blue LED lights for night viewing of your aquarium.

For filtration, a very important part of a reef aquarium, the AquaPod 12 comes with a dual-stage biological and mechanical filtration system, a surface-skimming overflow intake, and a 160 gallons per hour submersible pump with flat nozzle, for creating the water current necessary for healthy and comfortable corals, fish, and invertebrates.
